Meet the enemy… WEAKNESS

Prevents you from:

  • climbing stairs comfortably

  • carrying groceries

  • getting up from a seated or lying position

  • completing the necessary activities of daily living

Makes you feel:

  • inadequate

  • insecure

  • helpless

Nobody should feel helpless. We deserve to be independent, confident, and strong!

Meet your ally: STRENGTH

Strength is the armor with which we shield our bodies from the enemy’s attacks. Maintaining and improving our strength as we age allows us the freedom to complete everyday tasks essential for living. It builds our confidence both physically and mentally. Through strength, we gain independence, our bodies look better, and we become healthier.

Unless you are a professional athlete, engaging in a strength program doesn’t require you to spend all your free time training. Like medicine, all you need is the minimum effective dose. Using an evidence-based approach, one or two thirty-minute workouts a week is all it takes to build and strengthen muscle. Adding in a slow speed of movement, reduces the risk of injury and allows you to continue training throughout the years.
